We wanted to give you an idea of what to expect with an average per month cost to stay in an apartment. The below estimates are not meant to be hard and fast, but to give you a general idea of what to expect.
MINIMUM Monthly Estimate for 3 month terms
Rent estimates subject to change.
Rent prices are dependent on many factors, such as availability, area of town, etc. 12 month terms are going to cost lower and will provide you with more choices.
$250 and up
It makes more sense to rent furniture for this short period. A local provider can put this into place for you and you can walk into your apartment with it all fully furnished. This would include your bed, tv, pots, pans, and more. Typically already included in the apartment (so you don’t have to order this) is: Dishwasher, oven and fridge.
$35 and up
Most places will come with a washer/dryer connection, but not the actual washer and dryer. It’s best to rent this from an outside service. They will install it all for you and then take it away when your lease is done.
$60 and up
For a smaller apartment, electricity should not be a high cost.
$75 and up
This would include basic cable and decent speed internet. Get higher speeds for more. Or, just get a wireless hot spot and spend less.
The apartment will set this up for you in the city your apartment is in. No separate work is necessary.
Gas is not used in apartments here. No costs will be incurred.
Most places now require renters insurance. We have a source for this that is quick and easy.
